Welcome To Our New Home!

Well, the waiting is over... finally, Litopia Writers’ Colony has a brand new home on the web!
I hope you like it: the design by Luke Burford of Lunamedia mirrors the podcast site – fresh, understated and stylish. We want this to be a wonderful home for all our members for the coming years – a place where you can have fun, work unreasonably hard, and hone your writing talents to excellence.
Like all new homes, it will take some getting used to. As you know, the changes go much deeper than just slapping a coat of fresh paint on the place. We’ve moved to a powerful new software platform. Like me, I am sure you will find yourself fumbling around for things in now-unfamiliar places for a week or two. But stick with it, and please offer a helping hand to anyone you notice who seems a bit bemused. You’ll soon get the hang of things.
The heart of the Colony is and will always be the Forum. Expect some tweaks there in the next few days, as elsewhere. And later in the month, we will be launching an entirely new section – Litopia Writers’ Spa – which I’m very excited about... more on this soon.
There’s so much else to tell you... at last, we have a proper blogging platform for our Full Members and as you can see, all new blog entries will be automatically featured on the front page. And fully integrated elsewhere, too. We’re also shortly to announce some Star Columnists who will, I predict, rock the publishing industry to its foundations! Well, it’s about time.
But enough from me. Now’s the time to start poking around, meet the neighbours, put up some new curtains and see what the removal men have broken (hopefully, not too much). I want to wish you a happy and deeply rewarding time here.
Peter

I especially appreciate the insertion of some fuzzy logic in the splash page (Koala image) well-placed, indeed, Peter.

Hi, I'm glad to be here and eager to explore. I've been busy with editing and such and haven't visited in a while, though the site remained in my bookmarks. Then I received the email letting me know of our new home.
Thank you.
