A highly-respected children’s author, Alan has been writing books
for 18 years. He’s been honoured with several awards, including the Blue Peter Book Award for his best-selling book Shadow of the Minotaur, and was shortlisted twice for both the Carnegie Medal and the Booktrust Teenage Prize. A former teacher, Alan has appeared on TV and radio and is a regular contributor to, among others, the TES.
