A multi-award-
winning author, Keith’s first novel, Creepers, was published in 1996 when he was 24 and shortlisted for the Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize. He’s judged several major children’s literature awards, including the Blue Peter Book Award and the Nestlé Children’s Book Prize, and reviews teenage fiction for both The Guardian and The Scotsman. Based in Edinburgh, in 2008 Keith was the first Virtual Writer in Residence for the Scottish Book Trust, commissioning and editing short stories by his favourite writers and producing online creative videos to encourage young writers.
