12120400_9353999829“In our family”, wrote Ann Morrow Lindbergh, “an experience was not finished, nor truly experienced, unless written down and shared with another.” Today, we’re considering the difference between diaries and autobiographies – which one is the more truthful?  And which the more self-serving?  Do you keep a journal?  Is it an inviolably private matter (to go with you to the grave) or do you subscribe to Mae West’s dictum – “Keep a diary and one day it’ll keep you”?
