I very fondly remember the Scholastic book fairs of my youth.  I was one of nerds acting as a clerk!  :-)   It’s pretty depressing to learn that the pressure put on by these over-protective, hyper-reactionary parents is actually affecting the choices made by such a great book organization.</description>
